August 18, 2026

More reliable checkout, resumable large batches

Checkout now opens in a new tab on our own site instead of inside the app — same secure Paddle checkout, just a smoother and more reliable experience.
If a large rename job gets interrupted (tab closed, connection drop), reopening the app now offers to resume exactly where it left off instead of starting over.
Updated refund policy: the one-time lifetime purchase remains refundable within 14 days. The monthly subscription is non-refundable — you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

Launched a limited-time offer: the first wave of users can claim free Pro access with one click, no payment needed, while spots last.
Fixed a bug where a filename with a decimal-looking trailing part and no real file type — like 100.00 or v2.5 — had that part wrongly treated as a file extension, so prefix/suffix rules landed in the wrong place. Found during internal edge-case testing, never applied to a real file. Extensions are now only recognized when they actually look like one.

The "Rename pattern" section got a full redesign — each of the 6 rule types now sits in its own clearly separated, numbered box with its own color accent, so it's obvious at a glance which settings belong to which rule.
Refreshed typography, colors, and visual polish throughout the whole app.

Bulk renames of any size are now handled safely behind the scenes — very large selections are automatically processed in smaller batches, so a big job can never get cut off partway through.
If a large rename run is ever interrupted, whatever completed so far stays safely recorded — nothing is silently lost.
History got more control: delete a single entry you don't need anymore, or clear your whole history at once — both ask for confirmation first, so nothing is removed by accident. Undo now asks for confirmation too.
Cleaner history list with alternating row shading, easier to scan once you've built up a few renames.
Fixed "Manage subscription" — it now reliably opens your billing portal every time.
Your subscription status is now automatically re-checked once a day, so cancelling on the billing side is reflected here without you having to do anything. A manual "Refresh status" button is also available anytime.
Added an in-app feedback form — tell us what's working or what's missing, right from the app.
Added a light/dark theme toggle. The app always starts in light mode; switch anytime and your choice is remembered on your next visit.

Payments are now processed through Paddle, which automatically handles sales tax/VAT for your country — no surprise charges.
Added a self-serve "Manage subscription" option so you can cancel or update your payment method yourself, anytime.

Fixed an issue where certain errors during "Preview changes" (like hitting the free-plan file limit) failed silently instead of showing a message. Errors are now always visible.

Six rename rule types: find & replace, case transform (UPPERCASE / lowercase / Title Case / Sentence case), metadata insertion (dates, file size, camera/EXIF fields for photos), prefix/suffix, today's-date stamping, and sequential numbering — combine as many as you want in one pass, always applied in the same predictable order.
Preview every change before anything is written to your Drive. Color-coded: blue = will change, gray = no change needed, red = couldn't be renamed.
Undo your last 20 rename batches with one click.
Save rename patterns as presets so recurring jobs don't need rebuilding.
Works with folders and Shared Drives.
Tested and confirmed reliable renaming 1,000+ files in a single batch.
Free plan: up to 50 files per run. Paid plans remove that limit.
Privacy by design: the app can only ever see files you explicitly pick — never your whole Drive.
